I’ve had my camera for about 6 months. I love this app for viewing the live feed from wherever I am. I also like that I can add people to share with so now my husband can also view live feed and to upgrade for cloud storage to keep footage is very reasonable. The picture quality is great in daytime color and night time black and white (unless light is turned on for color) night vision is very clear also. We absolutely love this app. Thanks creators of this app.

Save your money and go with something else. In the last 2 days, I am now confronted with Japanese ads when I even open the app. I can’t read it so I have no clue what I’m supposed to do to get it off the screen. I can’t tell if I’m declining something or agreeing to it. They also recently changed their previous policy on videos. Before, you could access all the videos from your device no matter how old, especially if you had a memory card. The memory card never works with mine but fine, the video stores to my phone and I can go back and check them. Now they’ve decided you can only view the videos for 36 hours (not a full 2 days as they claim). Anything over 36 hours old now requires a monthly premium price to view. This camera and its app has gotten worse over time. I shouldn’t have to buy the camera and pay a monthly premium to access videos stored to my phone or the cloud. I shouldn’t have to deal with foreign ads on startup that I can’t even read. I’d give this -5 starts if Apple would let me.

Limited function without a subscription. Honestly, it does seem to be a good camera. I like the picture quality. I get a notification of motion- since I don’t have a subscription it does play the clip of the motion. I would need to go find it in replay to see what triggered the motion. You can’t just forward the clip to anyone either. If you download it- it is only “temporarily” on your device. If you delete the download from the app it deletes the clip from your photos. I find this strange. If I could see the clip I would probably pay for the cloud storage, but hesitant.
