I decided to try this app out, as the app I normally use (Clear Play) only works in a Chrome browser. I tested with 2 movies, The Terminator and Logan. I started with The Terminator, using the PG13 setting. In the first scene of the movie, there is full frontal nudity, blood, and strong language. Most of this should have been cut out, but the only filtering that occurred was part of the language. I was able to hear an F bomb, but the word A**h*** was partially censored. Luckily, I was doing my testing without the kids present. I jumped over to Logan, thinking a newer movie may have better filtering. Inexplicably, the only censorship available in this movie is language, and instead of just censoring the word, the entire sentence is cut out. All the while, Logan is cutting people to pieces with no censoring. This application costs 7.99 a month, with censorship far inferior to that of Clear Play, where I can set up my own filtering with clear descriptions of offensive content. Very disappointed in this app, you should not be charging a subscription fir a service that does not function as advertised.
I would love to love this app! It’s a great way for me to show movies to my kids that I otherwise could not show them. However, there is a major flaw. This app causes the iPhone wake-up alarm to malfunction, ringing only very quietly and never increasing in volume. After a couple unexplained episodes when my alarm never work me, I suspected this app and tested it several ways. This is what I found: The app definitely interferes with the iPhone waleup alarm if there’s a movie currently playing on this app. However, more surprisingly, it also unexpectedly interferes if a movie has recently been playing and the app is still sitting open. This is relevant especially if you put on a movie to go to sleep at night. If you fall asleep during your movie and fail to close the app, your alarm will sound so quietly in the morning that you’ll likely never hear it and oversleep. Developer, please fix this! Users could end up missing school, work, or another important appointment, not knowing this is occurring. I otherwise so far love the app.
Hello! I have been using enjoy for filtering shows on my fire tv, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, etc. It is a very great app! The free version has a lot and a ton of filters and preset filters that they offer. although, if you pay for premium, you get to filter more shows, and you get more filters. And only for $6 a month! That is about half as much as vidangel, and this app does a lot! Although, a couple issues that I do have, is sometimes the filter for filtering swear words is a little late, and sometimes the video quality of the show is lower when watching shows on the app. If you could fix these couple things, it would help out a lot. But other than that, this app is amazing!!
