I’ve used my most distracting app far less since I started using this app. The fact that it makes those app unavailable accept through BeTimeful keeps me from going on them to begin with. Then, once time is up, it completely closed the app. Other services only suggest the app be closed. It’s far easier to ignore the suggestion than to go and open the app again.
My only complaint is you have to pay for it. I only use it with 2 apps so it’s useful but not worth the price. I wish there was an ads tier so I wouldn’t need to pay out of pocket.
Other than that, great app. Very effective.

This app is pretty good at really getting you off social media. Giving you certain amounts of time until it cuts you off and not displaying the apps on your Home Screen is super effective. Just it felt too easy to get around with unlimited allowances. However it helped me reduce my screen time greatly.

BeTimeFul is an amazing productivity app. I love that it lets you customize the lock screen with a photo of something important to you, to keep you on track. It really makes you ask yourself, is this important? Why am I checking? And if you can’t answer it before the timer, you realize you prob don’t have a good reason and then it’s easier to set the phone down or just close the app. I also love the widget (easy to see, organized) and I love how easy it is to use. 5 stars.
