Aven Advisor: Credit Check App

I’ve had my account with Aven for years. I followed all the steps to sign up properly and never received the $5 sign up bonus. Also, I’ve used their referral program and have referred quite a few people and never received the $5 bonus for my referrals. I’ve reached out to their customer support team multiple times through email and never received a response. I’ve made the mistake by signing back up thinking it would change but nothing has yet to happen. I’ve wasted a lot of my time using this app and I feel like I’m wasting my time writing this review. I’m done using this app for good.

This app never works when you need it to, it always says I got paid 5 days after, says my bank account is below $100 when it’s not even close, says my borrowing power and credit score are way off… the weekly $1000 contest is fun and my friend actually won it recently, but the app never loads for me when it’s time to log in to enter to win… this week it said my internet was down (it wasn’t) and that I should try my mobile device… I only have this app on my phone!! The headaches are not worth the minuscule chance to win $1000… not recommended. Update, as of last week and this week too, it seems the quit doing the weekly $1000 drawing. So now there is NO reason to use this app… it’s absolutely pointless.

I went through every bank under the sun.. well all the second chance banking apps… from cash app, chime, Venmo, PayPal, Revolut, current, you name it… NOTHING worked!! I finally found one that did… and that’s community federal bank. It’s a bank by Experian credit report. It also helps build your credit which I’m working on. Free to sign up and only takes a few minutes. Once you add money on it you can get a debit card. 😌
