Defense Legend 4: Sci-Fi TD

I was able to get through the first few levels without having to spend money. A lot going on in this game.

I really like this game a lot but it seems like once you get to around level 35 is when you gotta start spending $$$ or quit. The star requirement starts getting ridiculous and you have to almost be perfect with 3 stars in each hardness in every level to keep advancing. I’m not dropping a ton of money to keep advancing so I’ll be cutting back until something changes. I don’t mind spending a few bucks here and there but almost nothing in this game is just a few bucks.

Ads are great, aren’t they. A good portion of the gameplay is spent watching ads. Which is doable except when the game is no longer playable. Here’s a quick horror story. A game ad came on right before the main menu and it’s stuck, front and center. I can’t close it or tap anywhere to make it go away. I tried uninstalling, resetting, and punching myself on the face in frustration, but nothing works. It just sits there, haunting me, reminding me of the fun I used to have when I was kicking tower defense rear end. It’s truly a fun game with good graphics but ads said nope, not today! Or ever. My motto is if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Well this game is very broken in dire need of fixin.
