Reviews: What People Think About HWY 62 Open Studio Art Tours

I’ve used this app last year and this year for Art Tours in the high desert- it’s such a cool way to be able to find great local artists in the community, and find them near where you are, with the map feature- you can pop in to anyone’s studio with great ease. What a fun authentic desert experience!
Another reviewer mentioned a difficulty with adding an artist to a “list.” It’s actually easy, you just have to make sure a list is selected- so, CLICK on one of the list options in the menu that appears- by default, no list IS actually selected.
That’s it! Have a fun time!

Title says it all. You have to go back to the artist list to see the next artist. When you save the ones you want to see it doesn’t actually save a list. It’s always empty.
About HWY 62 Open Studio Art Tours
The HWY 62 Open Art Tours is an annual multi-disciplinary desert-wide open studio art tour.
The concept of open studio art tours in itself is a fairly common thing: in our desert environment with questionable GPS, hand painted or missing road signs, and vast vistas to the edge of the earth the open studio art tour becomes an extraordinary thing. The artists here have chosen a world like no other, in which to create their own.
NEW IN 2024: Art Tours After Dark
This year, the activities continue after the sun goes down. Immerse yourself in our thriving local music scene as we showcase our talented performers on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night during all three weekends of the Art Tours.*
*NOTE: Not all venues are participating each night. Make sure to check the calendar for complete schedule and participating venues.
There are hundreds of artists showing across eight desert communities (Flamingo Heights, Joshua Tree, Landers, Morongo Valley, Pioneertown, Twentynine Palms, Wonder Valley and Yucca Valley).
