Lost all account details when updating to a new IOS. Have to relogin and there is no proper cloud storage of account. Have to link to Apple ID or google but even then the UI is clunky can unable to load user account nor register for push notifications. Come on a student can create a more functional app than this.

MUJI’s passport is the worst store app ever. Please continue reading to see why. 1. Your birthday coupons only come in Mid-month. Meaning if your birthday is on August, if you visit the store between 1-13 Aug, you will not enjoy any birthday coupons. 2. If you reinstall the App or change your phone. You will not be able to restore your account and all points and coupons will be lost. 3. Don’t bother talking to the front desk or store personnel about this. They are well aware and are numb to all feedback about this horrible app. They will just tell you to email customer service and after doing that, don’t expect any quick replies or for them to do anything for you. Big thumbs down. And shame on MUJI for creating such an incompetent app. Yucks

All the painstaking points accumulated over the years are wiped out with an IOS update - yes, which app in the world allows that? No service recovery was offered at all. Unbecoming of a Japanese store with a reputation of Muji. When I approached the customer service person at the stall, he just smiled and said “yes, it’s all gone” as if it is SOP instructed to him. More importantly, on an ethical note, does this sound like it is subtly designed so the management can increase their margins (entice consumer spending with the Muji app, crashes it and hope no one raises a brow because it’s only “points”) Unfortunately, the experience I got makes me feel this wiping out of points is intentional.
