This is an awesome app My only real issue with it is that, when you activate offline mode, artist view doesn't function. You can still browse by albums and song but my library is huge and sometimes I forget the names of albums. Would love for that to be updated.

EDITED - This app did have instant mixes, the random playlist feature I thought it didn’t have! Unedited - I tried to use the native jellyfin app to stream music but I found that jellyfin stops playing the music as soon as I leave the app. Major dealbreaker! Good thing this app exists. I love the new UI change in the beta. Though I would love a feature to auto populate a playlist randomly or based on listening history. At least I saw that jellyfin can create a playlist randomly.

So right off the bat, I commend the team for this side application which I didn’t know I needed before, but fits its singular purpose well. It does all the basic things you would expect an app like this to do. There’s just a couple of issues that make this hard to recommend. First, The downloads do not work that well. They do work, but if you queue up a lot of downloads (say, an album of 100 tracks), the app will go into suspend/sleep mode before it finishes, causing the downloads to fail. Second, and this is a dealbreaker for me, it doesn’t save audio progress position between sessions. If the app hibernates or you close it, you lose any media progress you had. While that’s not a huge deal for music, it absolutely cripples audiobook functionality. And finally, the app tends to misbehave (become unresponsive) if left suspended/hibernating too long, requiring a force close. Annoying, but not a big issue (unless coupled with the aforementioned audiobook issue)
