Payflex - Buy Now Pay Later

My dad used to say that buying cheap, is expensive. Buying cheap 10 times, is more expensive than buying decent 1 time. Payflex gave me the ability to buy decent the first time. As a clerk / student, I don’t always have the funds right away for decent. Thank you Payflex for assisting me in my saving journey! I have saved so much money as I was able to buy good quality the 1st time, and not needing to buy again! The only suggestion I have is for Payflex to maybe consider adding another payment option on the payment plan, such as a 6 month payment plan. As the credit increases for good payment behaviour, it would be great to have more time to pay off larger amounts. For example if my fridge quits on me, I have the credit to buy a new one, but making 3 payments on a fridge as someone with a smaller salary, would be nearly impossible. So if Payflex would add the option for 6 payments, first payment being immediately and the other 5 payments over a few months, that would significantly better the service. Credit where credit is due. Thank you for a great service and app!

I had 2 active orders, which I had selected to pay for over 3 monthly payments. I had already made 2 of the 3 payments per order. When I tried making the last payments on both orders (on different dates), the app showed that the payment was unsuccessful - however both amounts were deducted from my bank account! I submitted a query for both issues, however the support department’s poor service caused further delays. The last payment for one order was assigned to the second payment! Clearly the agent did not read my email nicely, and also did no investigation as she only checked one order. She also did no investigation to establish that I had already made the second payment on both orders. This issue remains unresolved, and I am still begging them through emails to resolve the issue! I can imagine what happens when an issue like this happens on payment day? It’s possible that there’s a lot of customers who end up incurring penalty fees unnecessarily! The Payflex principle itself is great initiative, however they need to have a good support department that will effectively tackle customer issues timeously.

I truly swear by this app. You are able to pay ahead, you are able to see how much you can spend. If you return something, the app immediately picks up on it and adjusts the instalments. When you purchase something with Payflex, it’s instant and super easy. I saw the other reviews and Payflex must have been paying attention because I’ve never had a problem with them. If you are sceptical, try it on small purchases first so that you can build your trust with them. (That’s if you do).
