Shimmer Care: ADHD Coaching

F, late-diagnosed freelancer and artist - I use both the app and the coaching program. It’s been about 5 months now and I can already see such a positive difference in my life. I’m planning to be in this community for the long haul. Nothing compares out there. It’s built with real research behind it and it shows in every way you interact with it. I have a ways to go in terms of learning about ADHD and also healing my nervous system from a lifetime of not knowing why I felt so different. I’m his tool is helping me do that at my own pace. The tool and learning modules are self paced, informative, and positive. I really love when I have time to sit and learn. Theres also a great library of recorded content, so I get to enjoy the many virtual workshops and masterclasses whenever my schedule allows. The daily body doubling sessions are a game changer for getting things done! My 1:1 coaching sessions are life changing. I’m not exaggerating. These coaches are the real deal. They are so knowledgeable. I feel like I’m being provided with supportive accountability and mentorship without feeding the shame loop we tend to fall into. Both of the coaches Ive been paired with have been perfect. They really take the time to match you with the right people. I tell everyone I know who is neurodivergent about Shimmer. I’m so grateful to the developers and team for bringing this amazing resource to us at such an accessible price. You’re making a positive difference in many lives.

I can honestly say finding this app is like finding the mentor/guide/teacher that you’ve always wanted. It has already changed my life in so many ways after just one month in, the learning modules, the visuals, the coaching sessions, the logical and easy to follow layout (also cute! Which makes it a pleasure to use). As someone with muddled thinking (recently realized I’ve had adhd all along but thought I was just chaotic or “bad” at follow-through), the app makes the things I want to do so much clearer, like I have a friend guiding me along and cheering my wins. The cost is a stretch, but more affordable than working with an adhd coach, and offers SO much more with daily body doubling sessions, learning modules, and a way to define your goals and life plan out in a way that has shifted my fundamental understanding of myself and my ability to make my dreams a reality. The app is the tool, but beyond that it’s made by real people with big generous dreams who are creating a community. Honestly, it’s an amazing app, the best discovery. I 1000% recommend.

I discovered this by asking chatGPT what was the best ADHD coaching I could get in the US right now. You can tell that the creator had a clear, modern vision toward the experience using her own experiences with ADHD to create a helpful product that drives intention, clarity and focus. The result is an experience superior over having to waste time finding, scheduling and getting intros with countless independent ADHD coaches that are frankly overpriced, package pushers before proving their worth, and lack modern tech like this to track progress. This is finally what the ADHD community deserves, affordable and accessible live coaching for the middle class.
