I’m shocked there aren’t more reviews for this app! I have owned the BeatBuddy pedal for several years now and although a fantastic drum pedal it is lacking in modern software to manage it. There is a ton of bending down and twisting knobs to get the song and settings dialed in. Then I just discovered this BBFF and it is life changing! It contains ALL of the songs on your BeatBuddy ON YOUR PHONE! You pick the song you want in seconds. You also have access to other settings such as volume, drum set choices, bpm and more. Amazing and worth every cent. Side note… You will need to set up some kind of midi Bluetooth connection to your BeatBuddy. I’m a novice and it was easy to do using readily available products on the market. Check out CME WIDI products as a starting point.

I was looking for a Bluetooth based MIDI Controller app to use on my phone to control aspects of the Singular Bound BeatBuddy drum machine. This app checks all the boxes for what I was after. A simple interface that allows me to utilize the BeatBuddy functions completely without having to bend over and adjust settings on the BB itself. No fancy graphics and colors to distract- just a clean simple interface that gets the job done easily and efficiently. I can still start, stop, transition, fill l, etc...with my foot but can adjust tempo and volume from the app at the same time. Of course you can do all of that from the app as well if you so choose without using foot switches. A really cool feature of this app is the ability to create custom Set Lists easily and can modify the song attributes of those songs you put into the set lists. I am using the CME WIDI Master as my Bluetooth adapter and it works well. Any decent Bluetooth adapter should work. Price is well worth the functionality and options this app has to offer. Highly recommended.
