Stop Motion Factory

I’ll share the good parts first! First, it’s really easy to use. Right when I downloaded it, I understood greatly about the process and how to work it. Next, when doing the actual stop motion part, it shows you the past picture you took! That’s really neat, and useful if you move your camera or your little LEGO falls off the table. Next, it’s really smooth. I’ve already made a full completed one (with two in testing) and all of them look like my object is literally moving by itself!! Now, let’s get to what you need to work on. First of all, the voices in text to speech sound very robotic, so I can’t use it for most of my videos… Second, the text… I think you should make it 3d. I tried to make a video containing some text, but it looked very unrealistic and weird. Next, if you accidentally leave green screen on, for let’s say blue. The video looks very weird, and you can’t remove it unless you delete all the frames and restart. Finally, if you move the camera just the SMALLEST bit, it’s impossible to get it in the back position. So when the stop motion video is finished, it looks very jittery. If you are downloading this, and needed a review, here’s something for you: V.I.P is very cheap, at $4.99 a year and $0.99 a month! It gives you a lot of stuff including text, which I said already looks unrealistic, text, which I said, sounds very robotic, and removes the watermark! (Which is very good for some types of videos!) and much more. I’m just saying, you don’t have to buy it. Remember what is in here. If you are a developer: please take notice of this. Especially the bad parts you need to work on. Please, please, please fix them, and thanks for the great app!

I love the app I made several videos, and enjoyed it a lot, however it doesn’t really slow down that much, even though it slows it still makes a smooth quick video, I was going to try to make a digital Comic, but when I tried it wouldn’t slow down. I like how it lets you choose a font, most stop motion apps don’t do that, and I was surprised when it let me. The app doesn’t have the cool fade, upbeat pre made backgrounds with apps like the “I Movie” it will let you choose those transition backgrounds like yellow to blue, purple to black, white to pink, etc. but I was disappointed to find that there wasn’t one I could find. I do enjoy how smooth you can make quicker paced videos just like the description ones, those are 100% accurate I’ve tested them. The filters are really cool, and the app is easy to use and nice and simple but not too simple. It does have a text-to speech thing which is cool so you can make something and have one of those robot voices say things in it. Earlier i said ‘but you can’t duplicate projects, or add photos from your photo library, which other apps let you do and would be useful to have,’ and those things have been added into the app, which is great! You can also save individual photos to your photo library, and duplicate individual photos in the editor, which is really nice! It’s also nice that the developer took some feedback and made it better!
