I absolutely love this app! I have bad ADHD and it totally helped me focus! I got it originally to lock in when doing my school work and I got almost 72 hours of complete productivity over 2.5 weeks! I crushed my finals and now I’m graduating! I’ll definitely be using this going forward to focus on language learning or other tasks as I felt it was super helpful! I love that there is a one-time purchase option for the subscription as I love being able to pay outright if I want to use something! I actually ended up picking up the full version because I felt it helped me enough and I want to support the dev to keep supporting this app with new features! As a game dev myself I feel it’s very important to support the things you love! Some features I’d love to see added: a Lock Screen widget, an Apple Watch app (please I would love to use this on my watch so I don’t have to always have my phone with me! It would increase my use of this 100x so I didn’t have to use my phone battery all of the time!), have a tab to change the pie chart to a bar graph (or just add it below) I love the pie chart, but something about a bar graph with each of my sections listed and colored is just nice), finally I’d love to be able to add goals (like I want to spend X time on this each week) and then the traveller could mark it off on their journal when completed during the end of focus session log Overall super happy with this app and can’t wait to see where it goes! Happy Travelling!
This app literally helps me so much with school, it provides amazing soft music with no lyrics. All just soft boop sounds. All the features that you could pay for don’t really prevent you from having a good experience either. And after reading the story behind the app it all makes me appreciate it even more!!! This’ll always be an app that I recommend to my friends. It’s so fun seeing the statistics on it as well, seeing how much time I spend doing what, it makes it feel worth it. Also you’re able to customize your traveler which is so cute! Everything is cut and dry and simple which makes tinkering with the app when bored pretty much impossible. Again, I absolutely love this app and I think it’s amazing for all ages, especially students in need of some uninterrupted study sessions! Lots of love to this app and its creators, I hope to find more of their creations soon!
When I first downloaded this app, I was really excited! I could tell that this app was made with lots of love, and I was okay purchasing it since I knew the profit went to a passionate dev team. Everything was going great at first, but at some point the app had stopped consistently tracking my hours. I thought it was a one time thing or I may have done something to my phone that has cancelled the timer, but even if I put my phone to sleep (pressing the power button, not holding it and shutting it off) sometimes it will still cancel my timer. There is no prompt when it does so. There have been many times where I’ve been in the zone and working for 2+ hours. The widget timer is still going strong, but when I go over to the app, I’m at the starting screen and my 2+ hours haven’t been logged. It’s just a very frustrating thing to deal with, especially since that is the sole purpose of the app. Reached out to customer support 2-3x (with screenshots attached) explaining the issue, but no one has gotten back to me. I want to love this app and give it a 5-stars, but as of right now I just can’t. TL;DR. Good app and started off strong, but app randomly stopped consistently logging hours. Customer support has yet to get back to me about anything. UPDATE: Someone from the dev team reached out to me and gave me an update on the issue, in addition to two free characters (Corgi and Catty)! Thus, I have changed my review to 5-stars. Although the issue is not fully resolved, the dev team is actively working on fixing the issue and they were very generous and respectful. Will be purchasing more characters in the future to support them :)
