Called them out on their super impressive ultra professional support system “discord” a video game chatting platform for children… requested the steps to get my money back from this failed project to receive a ban from the server. Seems like they don’t want to be called out in their locked down control scheme of f over unhappy customers because we over promised failed to give proper updates or expectations and fed the users with complete lies.
I use Immersed on Mac, Linux and PC and just decided to try it on my iPad Pro and my Quest 3. It works SO well, in fact I’m using it right now. You don’t have the features of the desktop, like multiple / virtual screens, but that’s not the fault of the software it’s a limitation of iPadOS. It’s just amazing to be able to use my iPad, with the Keyboard / Trackpad, on a giant screen in VR.
I had some trouble connecting and get things going at first but after some research I found out you need to connect your PC first and then use this app on your phone to cast your phone screen to the VR environment. The concept is pretty awesome and I look forward to the future of this. Right now you can see your phone screen but it is not usable for iphone games or videos (like I wanted) but the future sure looks bright!!
