Cary Streamer 2.0

Using both Qobuz and Tidal streaming services, the Cary 2.0 app only loads about 20% of my roughly 300 saved albums. I contacted Cary Audio support to report the problem. I was told they were able to “replicate the problem” and would implement a fix. In the meantime I was advised that as a workaround I could scroll down to the last displayed album prompting more of my saved albums to load. This needs to be repeated about 20 times until I can see my entire saved catalog. Any time I minimize the Cary 2.0 app to do something else on my mobile device (iPhone or iPad), about 80% of my saved albums disappear requiring me to repeat the arduous scroll to the end 20 times process AGAIN. This shortcoming renders the app almost useless, since scrolling through saved music to find something to play is I think more common than searching for a specific artist or album. About a month after my initial inquiry I followed up for an update. The support representative responded promptly telling me he’d check with the programmers and get back to me. He got back promptly but was only say the programmers are working on it but would not give him any additional info. The Cary Audio DMS-700 streamer is beautifully built and renders excellent sound quality. It’s too bad how poorly the app affects using the device.
