I'm in the US and for the full catalog of movies to show up you just have to go into account settings and toggle off/on the restricted content settings button a few times, close the app and check again to see if it's available now. Took me a while to figure out. I'm quite happy with some of the movies I've seen so far, parts of the story are very close to real life experiences and that's what I like the most about them. These are real movies with storylines and all, not raunchy few minute clips or cheap adult film movie spoof titles. Other content like old viva film classics and vivamax interviews that kind of thing, I skip. Here for the vivamax movies only, decent not tasteless, very well done considering most of the actors/actresses are not higher tier teleserye stars.
We were given a couple of one week subscriptions from a nice restaurant and so we checked Viva Max out. I’m kind of surprised to see that almost no one comments on the most obvious thing about this platform… that being that most of the movies are serious soft p0rn. That’s about it. Definitely no movies for families or kids. I’m Im not being judgmental- just honest.
Vivamax WAS superb for several years until sometime early this year. Vivamax was criticized for showing “soft porn”. After that (some time in March) they decided to take down all the “Adult” movies they had amassed and just put their old Sharon Cuneta movies. It’s infuriating coz now, I can’t cancel and get a refund on my 1 year membership which ends in November. Hey Viva, those critics that you are sooooo trying to please, they are NOT your paying customers! We are! I like watching those adult films and see the new directors pushing the boundaries of what their art can take them. If I wanted to see lollipop movies, I’ll go to the Hallmark channel. I will definitely let all of my friends here in the Eastcoast know about this! Urghhh…..
