Previously I was just running in the treadmill at a set speed for a set amount of time. This app showed me some interesting variations and functions very well. I’ve experienced no issues with the UI.

The app is great and has helped me a lot as someone who used to run a lot 20 years ago and is now trying to lose weight and get back into shape at 40years old. There a a couple things that would make it even better. It would be great if the timer didn’t pause when you switch to a different app. If I switch to check an email or to change my podcast during the walk phase the timer stops. Second it would be great if at the end of the workout you could type in notes when you enter the miles,cal,distance. For example I had trouble moving past the 3min run 3 min walk. It took me a few extra workouts to bump up to the 4min run cycle, but I was able to add in an extra set of 3/3 during that time. It would be great to make a note of that on the summery page rather than having to track that in a different app.

I tried it and had to immediately delete when realizing that all progress is paused unless the phone is unlocked and on the app. I can’t keep my phone on one app while away from the office. And to come back to it to see that all running accomplished while out of the app was “for nothing” was a huge disappointment. I’d love to redownload if this could get fixed! It’s just a timer at the end of the day, it SHOULD be able to run in the background like my other fitness apps
