I have all of Danielle’s books. When I’m searching for something to make, I put in what it is. For example I wanted to make an apple pie.. So I put that into the search in the app and it told me in which book I could find the recipe. It saved me so much time searching through each book looking for what I wanted. The only issue is that I can’t search for apple dessert. I have to know exactly what the name of the recipe is. As opposed to searching by ingredients. If only there were an app where I could put all of my cookbooks in, that would be awesome! As for now, I’m very happy with this one
If you have any of Danielle Walker’s cookbooks, this companion app is a MUST! You can half, double, triple recipes with a click of a button. You can add notes to recipes, select favorites so they are all in one location. Search ALL cookbooks for recipes that contain any ingredient you need to cook up. Select multiple recipes, create a shopping list, and mark off what you already have. The pictures from the cookbooks are beautiful. Thank you for giving us an app we didn’t know we needed.
I’ve been obsessed with Danielle’s recipes for a year (ever since my celiac disease diagnosis), and now I’m obsessed with this app too. I have all her cookbooks, and they are a treasure trove! This app helps me find the recipes I’m looking for (“I know she has a recipe for dill chicken salad…where did I see it? Which book is it in??”) I also use it when I have a random ingredient that I want to cook or bake with. I can search for that ingredient in this app and up pops all her recipes that contain it. I can’t say it enough: this app is so useful.
