Idle Mushroom Garden

As a 10 year old kid obsessed with mushrooms🍄! I love the variety, the music, the NEO is good to, I have quite the coincidence, my mom used to play this game, then i found it, and it was love at first sight😍! I most of my screen time is on this app! It is worth it though!!! Update: Now I’m eleven, and to be honest, I was so cringey. But, that’s beside the point. I’d like to point out that I’ve stopped playing this game for a few months, and yes, I changed the review to four stars. I feel bad for changing it, but I also think it’s important to state my new opinion. It’s nothing against the creators, nor am I trying to criticize, I’m only stating my opinion in this next part. Okay, I loved this game when I was nine and ten, but now, I’ve stopped playing for a while. I will admit, it’s very fun, but I stopped playing because of school. I do think the creators could maybe add more variety of mushrooms, or some more things to do with the mushrooms (like maybe have a part where you can maybe keep a mushroom as a pet or something, I don’t know, I’m out of ideas.) And while the game is fun and adorable, I’m sorry, but it kinda gets boring after about six or seven months. Please don’t criticize me.

I’ve been playing for a month or so as of March 2024 and I’ve had no problem switching between portrait and landscape (on my iPad which is old) I’ve notice no parts in any other language other than English. Which for me is good. My only complaint is that it’s just a lot of waiting. You can watch a video to speed up the mushrooms to finish once every 10 min! The mushrooms do grow on their own but slow. You can also develop your garden so stuff grows faster but it’s still slow. Usually I check the game, max my garden growth via watching the video. Then just play another game. Update: I finished the main garden and bought the next one… it seems like the mushrooms are just the same. Starting over?.. boring! Idk… I still just check it now and then when watching tv. Not really a continual play game.

I never write reviews ever. I’m rarely ever a mobile gamer because I find mobile games to be exhausting so I just stick to my normal PC/consoles. This game is such a fun little app to open periodically throughout the day. I love collecting and filling my museum. It only takes less than a minute to pick and feed my mushrooms. I open this app probably 20+ times in a day. It’s nothing I have to stress over and I love that it doesn’t feel pay to win. This is a fantastic game if you enjoy collecting and not having to think about anything! It’s a great game and I’ve always loved the mushroom series ever since I was little!
