I compared the results from this app to an online DoF calculator. The results were very close to each other. The user interface is clear and very informative. The app developer also gets bonus points for not trying to collect any personal user information!

If you have even a basic understanding, don’t waste any more time looking for a DOF app. This is IT. Enter your sensor size, focal length and f/stop and this app immediately displays both any easy to understand bar graph and all the distance numbers you need to know to get the image you want. Simply a brilliant little app!
