MangaNelo - Rock Manga Pro

I’ve had this app for about 4 years now and I feel like now’s a great time to make a review. When it works, it is the best manga app out there in my opinion. I even paid to make it ad free (which honestly I just suggest that you do because it’s only like $10 for lifetime). The only thing is that some chapters just won’t load for some reason. NOW WHEN ITS BAD….ITS BAD. There was like a 4 month period where I could not use this app. Like from April to early August (2025). But then it came back with an update (and ofc, my library was gone but still was happy) I was so excited to read the mangas I love. I feel that the update was great. But now, as of September 17 of 2025. It is acting weird again. You can actually stay on the app and it won’t forcefully kick you off like what it did before, but you can’t read anything. So just for the inconvenience of this I’ll give 4 stars. I would give this 6 stars if I could, but because of whatever this is it’s just not it for me. I’m sure the developers or whoever is working on this are trying their best and I’ll continue to be patient because it’s a good app. That’s my two cents on this. So for now…..I recommend going on their actual website to read manga

I’ve been using this app since mangaman was taken off the App Store and I’ve loved it. Until it started acting funny. I now have to reload a chapter about 7 times just to read it. I don’t even get the x’s anymore it’s just all black. I’ve been waiting for an update that hopefully fixes this, but haven’t seen one for months. (This I think has been mostly fixed with the last update. Just had it happen again yesterday but it hasn’t happened for awhile now. So I was more surprised that it was happening again than annoyed.) Back again. I guess I never uploaded this review. That was awhile ago but now I’ve been having glitches with this app. Some of the mangas/manhwas im reading, don’t update because they don’t load correctly, I guess you could say. I have to unfavorite it and then search it again and favorite it again. I’m grateful my chapters are still there but it’s inconvenient since the app takes so long to go from the favorites to the search tab. Side note: it would be amazing if there was a bookshelf for all the mangas we’ve added to favorites/to be read, so what were reading and what we want to read are separate so every time there’s an update it’s just the ones we’re actually reading at that time instead of every manga we’ve added. I just want to declutter my space honestly and not have 175 updates of the ones I’m not reading yet 😭

Great app! I love that I can read all my favorites and the fact that I can change the order in which the books put up in my saved Favorites, from A-Z, Z-A, recently added or even recently updated. And then there is the fact that you can change how the book pages are read, from left to right, right to left, or even as a WEBTOON style. I also made the VERY correct decision in doing the purchase so I’d be ad free. One of the best app purchases I’d ever made. Lol. There is only 1 problem for me and it’s not really a problem more like a hassle. And it’s the reason I only gave 4 stars. When you want to reread a story you go into the book but it doesn’t give you the option to start from the beginning (as in chapter 1) it starts you on the page you last left of said chapter. So then you have to scroll over until you get all the way to page 1. Most of the time this really isn’t an issue because chapters at around 30 pages. But then you have those few books at are 100 pages and so you’re sitting here scrolling all the way to page 1 and it takes like 5 minutes to do it. Then you read the book in less then 10 minutes and going to the next chapter where you do the process all over again. But other then that issue I have no problems with the app and have recommended it to several people!
