I have been playing around with this app halfheartedly since I picked it up in April of 2023. At first glance, it had some basic features, but to be honest I didn’t really put much time in it. A year later, I find it floating along in the back of my travel folder and decided to crack it open to see if I should just delete it. I realized I hadn’t added some of my most recent cards, so I decided to plug them in. After doing so, I kept finding hidden gems among the app. This really does a lot more than I ever gave it credit for. It is all manual input, so there’s no concerns about sharing private banking information. The card match is really much more intuitive than I ever gave it credit for. Being able to slim down the list to avoid banks or features makes it much more manageable. It even has the current two-step SUB offerings (something some of the paid services don’t include). I am really excited to delve even deeper into this app and spend more time keeping it up to date. The simplicity of it all is perfect.

...and this app consolidates everything I've learned into one place. The points game is confusing-how many cards can I sign up for at a time, how soon should I apply for the next card without a significant hit to my credit score, which card has the best deal, should I cancel my card before or after the annual fee is due, do I qualify for a business card. It's taken me hundreds of hours over ten years to learn and stay on top of all the rules, but Zac has made it easy for anyone entering the game to have that information immediately. I'm always amazed at the accuracy of the credit card recommendation engine, but recently it blew my mind further when I saw a great sign up offer, but the card genie didn't make the suggestion. I reached out to Zac thinking I found a flaw in his system, but in fact card genie was correct as I missed an esoteric rule about 'credit card families'. If you want the best way to accumulate a ton of credit card points, download the app, fill in what you already have and then follow it's recommendation.
