IG algo guided me to Dungeon Crawler Carl and thus to Soundbooth Theatre. Listened to the first free episode and was hooked. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and it’s awesome to come across these cinematic audiobooks that are like old radio shows. So far their content is awesome. The app and website however are definitely lacking. The app will switch to random scenes in other random episodes/chapters. There is no continuity if you listen from the website on your computer and then want to continue where you left off and listen on your app. The app is difficult to navigate. It often doesn’t display the correct episode or scene on the continue listening section. There’s a lot to work on with their interface. Even with all the bugs and issues I will still trudge through because the content is that good.

I downloaded a season I purchased with the hopes of listening to a complete season for a road trip. Little did I realize you still need to have some semblance of a connection for the app to authorize playback. This takes away from the whole point of downloads as we were on old country roads with no cell service and I could not play any of my downloaded files.

This app is terrible! Very difficult to find what you’re looking for even more difficult to understand how it’s trying to organize the book series and is drastically overpriced! I hope the authors abandon this platform! The content is amazing I wish they go back to Audible because this app is atrocious! I don’t see myself continuing to use it even if I loose the amazing content. Authors, please, please, DONT make your content exclusive to this terrible app!!
