Smarty Shopping

Rating high so this review gets some visibility. I signed up because this app was shown to me after making a transaction on PayPal. I thought it was safe to use because it was on PayPal. Wrong. They stole $25 out of the bank account connected to my PayPal within minutes of downloading. Magically after they did that their online chat support button is missing from the app, the regular support page isn’t sending messages, and when I go to cancel the subscription all I get is an error message at the top of my screen, yet everything else on the app is working. No way to get my money back. No way to talk to someone. No way to cancel what looks like a $25 subscription every month because some low lives want money they didn’t work for. Save yourself some headache.

Smarty Shopping is a fantastic app for finding coupons and earning cashback on purchases. I was surprised by how easy it is to use—just search for a store, and it quickly pulls up available discounts. The cashback feature is a great bonus, allowing me to save even more. The app has a clean and user-friendly design, making it simple to navigate. I haven’t experienced any glitches or crashes, and the deals are updated frequently, which keeps things fresh. It’s great for anyone who shops online and wants to save money effortlessly. Highly recommended!

I downloaded smarty when it was advertised to me after ordering pizza one time because it said I could earn half my money back in gift cards, seemed harmless, didn’t ask for ANY of my information and I didn’t give the app ANY of my information. I did not sign up for ANY subscription of any kind at all through smarty. They somehow got into my apple wallet and charged me $25, when I called my bank they told me to reach out to Smarty to get a refund and explain the situation, when I did so the person on the other line barley spoke english and told me I would get a refund in 3-5 business days and that my card information had been removed from smarty. 3 days later (today) I checked my bank account and I had been charged another $25, now $50 in total on an app I have never used in any way and has been no help to me. I have still not received a refund and when i called to ask why I had been charged again all he said was I would receive my refund in 3-5 business days. When I asked him how they still have my card information after the last guy clearly stated it had been “removed from smarty completely” he did not answer. If I am charged again or never receive a refund I will be filing fraud through my bank and reporting smarty for fraud and posting about it everywhere for nobody to use it and it is a SCAM goodbye💀
