Vampire Slasher Hero

The moment I found out this game was back in the app store I downloaded it one of if not the best free game on the app store I remember when this was vampire slasher for kth have fun

I’ve made it to 7-4 the gear isn’t really progressing so my char is stagnant...I’m lvl38 and have a nearly maxed talent tree , I have all but one mercenary unlocked .. and reforged with gold I have the best costume with 5 talent points and dmg... I see there is many more worlds but I don’t even see me making it through 7 I also have all the skills maxed with gems lol how do I improve? It’s not that I can’t survive that’s the easy part it’s that my dps is so weak the enemies and I just stalemate til I get bored 3 of my gear have magic damage and 7/9 percent dmg added there all purple or gold with good bonuses so I ask how can I improve .... all I have left is to use gems on my mercenaries ... the game feels impossible to beat atm and there is almost no help or guides online ...please help I spent real money for nothing at this rate...
