Tried this app and was initially annoyed because the gps would constantly be on which would drain my battery life. I would force shutdown the app after every use. Stupid me I figured out that just pushing the stop button after I get my yardages stopped the gps. Love this app. Tracer works fairly well but this is the best range finder replacement ever!! Especially for blind shots. It’s so easy to use. Helps me to make much better decisions. This is cool because my home course now has some temporary greens due to repairs and renovations of 2 holes. So most other watch based trackers like garmin and golf shot can’t tell you distances. This solves all those problems.

This is the best cell phone tracer app that I have seen or used in the past several years. It jacks our ball flight almost perfectly. However, every time you’re golfing in the summer, if you go to film a swing on the course, it comes up with a notification that says you are unable to film in hot temperatures. I have been trying to find a way to turn off this feature but have been unsuccessful. If anyone has a solve for this, please let me know! It is extremely frustrating to have paid the $10 and just because it’s hot in California in the summer. I am unable to film and get shot traces in the heat. If it wasn’t for that, I would give 5 stars.

Really like this app. Everyone who sees the swing path videos is super impressed. It misses a few swings here and the trajectory isn’t perfect but overall it’s quite close and gets a lot of them and it’s very fun and even helpful. The map is really well thought out with the elevation and plays like built right in. But the only issue with maps is you need signal. Some of the courses in upstate NY don’t have signal so the map won’t load and I can’t use it. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars but wish I could give it 4.5 instead as it’s really only because I wish I could use it more.
