For Those who are Confused.
Despite the Developer slapping a subscription in your face, if you look towards the bottom of the screen you’ll see something along the lines of, “continue with Free limited usage”. Afterwards, tap the Top Left icon showing a tv. Connect you’re TV and thank my later. 🙏🏾

Not a complete remote
I downloaded this to my phone and it is crazy that I have to use a second remote to turn on the tv and then allow the one on the phone to connect to the tv. It should be an all in compassing remote.

Worst App I Have Ever Used
Advertised as free, but the free version is basically worthless. Ads pop up everywhere (including one offering a subscription to the ad-free version of the app for $6.99 a month), even obscuring important parts of the user interface. Ads are often hard to get rid of without clicking on the app, this opening whatever it is linked to. And the app recognizes my TV but won’t actually control it. I understand freemium apps, but most of them actually offer reasonable functionality and don’t just exist to show ads.
