Vibe - Make New Friends

I got this because it looked cool, and i kept that opinion up until i was making my account! I’m Non-binary, so my first problem was when i was prompted to pick “male or female”. thats one thing that has to change. I really liked the idea of collecting “vibes” and being able to see how alike you are to someone! However, i did notice something that really killed the experience for me. At the gender prompt, I marked it as female, because thats the closest to what I am, but I am not attracted to men. from the few minutes of swiping I took, there was only men. I can only assume this means the app only connects you with the “opposite” gender, and has no way to change this. learning that, along with having to pick a gender I was not, I deleted my account nearly immediately after it was created. Great app for cis straight people, terrible for anyone that isn’t exactly that. Please work on this stuff, as I’d absolutely adore this app if I didn't have to deal with that crap!

i downloaded this app w the hope that i might be able to make some friends close to my age! since being an introvert in real life doesn’t allow for as much smooth and calm interactions as you would like. the few downsides of the app is that it doesn’t allow you to put your sexual orientation, which is what makes swiping on people confusing when they have “just a fling” or “looking for love.” i think that also allowing users to put their preferred pronouns would be nice to have. my other small suggestion might might just be bc of the balance between male and female users that have downloaded the actual app, but i noticed that i had a lot of male suggestions. it’s not that big of a deal for me, but it would have been nice to have a mix between girls and guys for potential friends, instead of just a single gender. i’m not sure if marking female on my application made the suggestions of male greater, or if it’s just the amount of actual people who use it in my area. other than those two small things, i think it’s not that bad of an app!

This app seemed like a good idea to download but once I started liking people, people started to like me back and when I went to go see who did, It says I have to pay to see who likes me, so basically there is no point in having this app on my phone anymore, cause “the the main purpose of the app is to match with people” Wrong! The main purpose of this app to to take your money for something that should be completely free. So for the love of god can someone please tell me if there is another way to match with people, cause this makes me so angry 😡. So until I get an answer your rating from me is 0 stars! (But I can’t rate 0 so a 1) ————————————————————————— Now may 10th 2021- I decided to go back on and it was good at first, still can’t see the people i add because of the stupid subscription. But i went back on and i was swiping through and all of a sudden it kicked me out of the app, and I tried again, still would not let me in the app, i am truly angered, like tbh its a ok app but i hate it with an extreme passion at the same time. Like there is no point for a subscription that lets you see who likes you, it literally defeats the whole purpose of the app, just make the app cost money, and fix the bugs. I wish i could rate this a 0 but I can’t, so my review stays at 1 star
