Remit Choice

I downloaded this app today at the request of the receiving party. It asks for all your personal information, including uploading my driver’s license twice, taking a selfie and entering my home address. I went to process a transaction and it did not accept my apple pay, so I inevitably had to enter my debit card information even when I felt suspicious. The transaction went through and I got a confirmation. A few minutes later I get a notification that says I have to confirm some info, I went to the app and it then had a message saying they don’t provide services in my state. They knew what my state is before asking me to upload my ID and my debit card so why not stop me there? Very strange they allow you to enter all that information only to tell you “oops sorry the transaction was never intended to go through”. Sounds like a scam to take personal information from users. I will be changing my debit card today with my bank. They claim I will get 3-5 days to get my refund but based on other reviews I doubt it. Will have to call my bank to do a chargeback.

I tried to use this app for sending money but ended up learning that this app collects people’s bank information and other sensitive information for dubious reasons. I could not send money to intended recipients, as they end up canceling the transaction after a day or so. This happened many times and they didn’t give a reason. They do not have customer support phone number! Also, the exchange rates that they display is not realistic to operate in the financial markets, meant to attract people and phish their personal and financial information. I would advise everyone to stay away from this app.

It’s so good app better than others because of its all sending money without cost any hidden cost and reasonable price rate. Actually I do like chose the best app remit choice.
