O2 Digital Banking

I’ve been with Old Second twenty years now and have had pleasant experiences throughout. I moved out of the area but didn’t want to transfer banks and Old Second’s mobile/online banking has allowed me to keep my accounts where I WANT them! In the rare occasions online banking didn’t work for me, the personal bankers have went out of their way to assist me in getting things done.

I just switched from US Bank due to a lack of branches near me so I was very surprised and impressed with all the features available on O2 digital. The iOS app is useful and modern looking too, but my only complaint is that depositing checks is way more complicated than US bank. The “For Mobile Deposit” endorsement is not very clear and doesn’t work sometimes

The camera feature is awful. It says to tap in order to take the check picture. It does not work smoothly. After tapping a few times then suddenly it will turn on the flash to take the picture. This causes the phone to shake and will possibly make the picture unclear. The system that WSB used was actually a lot easier and overall a far superior system. I am sure nothing will change but I thought you should know. Ian Goldberg
