Atom Finance: Invest Smarter

First I’d like to say that I love the app! I love the layout and the format. It allows for me to track and find new stocks I’d like to invest in. Provides tons of info on each stock especially dividend payouts (since I invest for long term). One thing I found as a problem is that the amount of my portfolio does not add up correctly. For example I go to my Robinhood app and there is my portfolio amount, let’s just say $100. When I go to check the Atom app, it shows a lesser value for my portfolio. Is there a reason why my Atom app is showing lesser values for my portfolios? I would love for the portfolio amounts to be exact so that I don’t have to keep switching back and forth from app to app to check my real portfolio total. If this could be fixed the app would become much better and I would give a 5 star instead of 4.

I am an avid Robinhood user who has just started to get more involved in the stock market over the past year. While I love the Robinhood UI and interface, I’ve been yearning for a tool that has more fundamental research tools so I can learn more about the actual goings-on at the companies I am investing in. I asked some friends in the finance industry for recommendations, and the tools they recommended were all far too expensive. Another friend who like me has been getting more involved in the stock market recommended I check out Atom. I’m glad he did, because I have been loving the app. The app provides all of the investment research tools you need to stay informed on the companies you are watching and investing in. I listened to my first ever earnings call thanks to Atom’s events feature, and have been learning more about how analyst estimates affect stocks with their analyst consensus tool. My favorite feature is the ability to integrate my Robinhood brokerage account with the Atom App so I can track my portfolio and view performance analysis. While it would be nice to see Atom add a chat feature over time so I can chat with friends, I am excited to see the new features that come out and would recommend any serious investor give this app a try.
