ROLA - Smart Robot

My Cats and I love their new fountain! I bought the Rola wireless stainless steel top water fountain and it works beautifully! My cats took to it immediately and it took them a whole month to start drinking out of their last water fountain so I’m amazed! This app is such a bonus that I can check how often they’re drinking water and get reminders on water level, when it’s time to clean it & change the filters, it’s great! I do wish I could tell which cat was drinking water each time but that would make it cost way more than I can afford. My only complaint is the time stamps for when the cats drank water are shown on military time and I don’t know military time. I can’t find any way to change to regular time. Please make it so I can change to regular time, thank you!

I’m not Happy with this App, and the developers, or creators of this app. The product is Amazing. A few problems I have with the app and it’s creative team is the lack of responses to the feedback. I wish that the Ebo along with the app would inform the owner that it has started its security sweep threw out the house. Also I don’t understand why Ebo has no recording of its sweep threw out the time of being off the charger. I find it concerning that I’m not aware of Ebo moving threw-out. I don’t understand why we as the owner of the product do not have more control of what is accruing when not aware or not on the app during. I hope this gets read and or corrected to where the owner/users have more awareness/control. I would hate for Ebo to be more of a problem then a companion to my home.

So like everyone else here, i was sold by the kickstarted campaign and was very disappointed with the end product. The build and feel of the robot are great but the functionality and features are severely lacking. The app itself is very bland, it contains three pages, one of “news” which is always empty, one which tells you the app version you are on and the third page is for the ebo control. Now when ai first got my ebo, right of the bat I noticed how glitchy and laggy the controls were, if you are not using it on hardwood floors and not in the same room, the glitch will make it very hard to control, also I noticed that even though it is advertised as always landing on its feet, i have mine constantly fall in positions and stay that way, never “landing back on its feet” and if I am away I have to hope my cat picks Ebo back up. As everyone has talked about there is no automatic play, it does not go back to the charge station, no scheduling. The laser pointer is weird for me because the first day I got it, I had the ability to use it but after The new build that feature was removed. If you are on the fence or were thinking about getting the Ebo, wait, don’t do it. Let us suffer through these trials and errors, let us be the guinea pigs, and hopefully the creators can release more patches and updates so we can all change these low ratings to raving reviews, because we all want to love this invention, but as of now there is not much to rave about.
