Their “disclosure “ is a joke. Read their privacy policy to see how bad this actually is. Pay attention to their wording. As much as I’m against government overreach brokers have to be regulated. This has gotten way out of hand. So them stealing off the front end and back end is no longer enough. Now they want to profit by harvesting and selling our data. You can bet this app has bottom tier security if any security at all. I’d love to know how much they are profiting from this. If they weren’t they’d just use a common and universal app. Yet here we are. Brokers need to be regulated. It’s insane all they are getting away with. While I only have a 13pro now my battery will no longer hold a charge. The fact company drivers will loose their job behind not accepting tracking may actually be coercion and in that case we can class action lawsuit this broker and the involved carrier. Not sure how that would play out but definitely gonna look into it. The fact they’re selling our data now is disgusting. Sure we know what the disclosure says but again go to the privacy titans it’s a completely different tune.
I have ran loads before with ALC I think this is the only broker on the market that isn’t calling or texting you 100 times a day I haven’t heard a word from them since picking up this load Yes they are using a tracker But so does everyone else I wish we used them more often But we rarely use a broker unless I’m somewhere that one of our customers doesn’t exist
As a driver i know everyone needs to make their own way of money. But this app right here is trash. If you are going to be a broker do it right and make the driver have an easy experience with you and your company. My company has picked up for this broker for awhile now and they are ok and i am not expecting perfection. But what i am suggesting is that they greatly improve on their app. Keep it simple, understandable and also easy to access with no issues. In my opinion test it on your employees before you push a product out to the masses get feedback from them first. But if you ignore that and still push it out anyway(in which i am pretty sure you will anyway) then actually listen to the truckers who are doing you guys a favor by helping you put food on your table.
