VA Disability Pay

Would be nice if you were able to select whatever SMC pay you receive, or are applying for. Especially considering they have people pay for the app. Overall it is nice to be able to manually put in the claims to track them and adjust as you receive ratings. That’s really my only complaint. I guess a back pay predictor would be nice also. Have a feature where you can enter the date you filed and then have a selection for when pay starts so you can see what the back pay amount it.

60% or 90% do not add up to 60% or 90% at VA and it’s hard to calculate your compensation rate or figure out what will benefit you to spend your time on. Ex) I have multiple issues, but it’s better to work on issue xyz than abc because I can increase my rating. All of this takes time and resources that are limited. This app helps guide me. I just try to work on the top three issues at a time.

After reading reviews I’m fairly certain everyone who didn’t rate this at four or five stars didn’t use the app properly. Seems a lot of people think it’s linked to the VA and should auto fill your data, that’s not how this works. Very handy app and I used it constantly to keep track of my actual rating while going through the filing process.
