Daily TSP

With the switch to the new TSP format, the company was put in a bad position. Their upgrade effort was near flawless, and is still a quality product, even with just the free features. I’m giving 4 stars because the upgrade ended up taking away a couple things that were free before (I can’t blame the company, the things were minor and they return if you buy Pro) and there’s no import feature to pull back in the data I pulled out before their update. It’s a small gripe, but a quality of life upgrade I’d love to see in their next update. Lastly, the daily and live updates disappeared, but the staff already commented on this and is planning to bring it back as soon as they can diagnose the new mutual funds options. Overall though, a great third party app that is secure and allows you to track your TSP’s performance over time in ways even the new TSP website can’t compare to.

I’ve been a user of Daily TSP for a few years and purchased the pro version. Their app has always been top-notch and their service/app development team has always been fast to respond to inquiries or suggestions. When the federal government decided to update the TSP website and completely revamp it, they gave the team at Daily TSP no heads-up on what the interface would look like, what info would be available, etc, AND they botched the rollout in epic style. Any issues people might be having with Daily TSP is not their fault. They’re working overtime to keep updating their app and work out any bugs as the botched rollout of the TSP website continues. Feds, relax a little bit. It’s not Daily TSP’s fault the new website and rollout are garbage. Give them time to tailor the new app to what’s available and I promise it will be great once again. I have and will continue to have full faith in the developers. Keep working hard, we truly appreciate it.

I am thoroughly happy with all the functionality of the app, the tools section is extremely helpful for me considering I want to make the right decisions now for my future. The app has so many various data points it’s just enough to be very well informed. If there is anything that is missing or needs an update just email the support team and they will get back to you near instantly. I can validate this to be true- since I had the app for less than a week and inquired about an update and they were thorough in understanding what my suggestions were and they addressed them in less than 48 hours. I strongly encourage anyone considering, thinking, or otherwise interested in this app to just buy this app. It is worth more than you think, especially gaining an appreciation of the various TSP data points and tools to make the best decisions you can for your future. I’d give this app way more than 5 stars if I could.
