I got this cause the main app stopped working so I needed something else, I like this new remote cause it works and isn’t constantly reconnecting to the tv. I dont understand the ads in a tv remote though, and I also dont like how close the home button its to the top part

I got this app because my Nanna’s original remote randomly stopped working and I wanted to be able to watch Netflix. Well, I do all the connecting steps and it never connects easily. It will sometimes connect, but then the touch pad is slow and nothing moves on the screen and as soon as my phone shuts off, I have to go through the process all over again just for it to never work and if it does work, it takes me back to the fire tv Home Screen so that I have to deal with the lagging again or for it to not work at all. I have tried everything for it to connect but it is just a waste of my time. This is ridiculous and useless. I DO NOT recommend this junk app.

the app used to have all the remote features for free, but now you have to pay a subscription for the things that were free before! I can’t control the volume without paying between $3 and $10! They took away the keyboard for searching and the volume, so now you’re left with basic up/down/left/right, select, menu, back, and fast forward/rewind. I wouldn’t be complaining if I didn’t know that all of the features on the remote were completely free less than two weeks ago when I last used this app to watch tv. They’re squeezing you for every penny instead of leaving it free.
