Cotton On

I love Cotton On’s clothing—great styles, great quality, and affordable prices. But this app? An absolute disaster. It’s like the developers went out of their way to make online shopping as frustrating as possible. First, the app refuses to apply discounts I’ve earned, even when they’re clearly valid. Then, it won’t let me change my shipping speed or even enter my shipping address properly. Want to check the details of a past order? Too bad. And worst of all, actually placing an order is a battle—half the time, it won’t even go through! Cotton On, your clothes are fantastic, but this app is an embarrassment. It’s 2025—how is your online store this dysfunctional? Fix this mess. Until then, I’ll stick to shopping elsewhere because I’m done wasting my time.

I love everything about cotton on; the aesthetic, the clothes, the accessories, everything—however, there’s a major bug that could cost you a lot of money if you don’t pay close attention. The shopping cart will sometimes double, triple, or quadruple the original number of items in the cart. I noticed this while I was filling my cart with things I wanted to get for Christmas. My $51 total was a whopping $234, and only because it had put up to six more copies of what I’d originally put in the cart. This hasn’t happened before with one or two things in the cart, but it seems that with 6+ items this takes place. PLEASE FIX! It’s such a hassle to go in and delete easily 20-50 copied items.

Having an app for the site is so great! Easier and simple. Only issues I have so far is my wishlist doesn’t show all my items unless I delete some I can refresh it and it’ll bring up a couple but wish it’d show all of them. Then my points don’t show only in my email and the desktop view they show. Also my cart shows I have 5 items when I only have one item in there. That’s why I gave it 4 stars, the desktop website and the app aren’t connected well yet I’m thinking.
