The app works well and I have no technical issues with it. However, I don’t see a real use case for running it on a phone or tablet when I already use Apple TV as my primary media device at home. I also don’t see added value in using the A1 smart box. It requires additional hardware, extra cables, and has limitations related to being physically connected to the main router. This setup adds complexity instead of simplifying the user experience. I don’t rely on the built-in TV operating system either, as it is noticeably slower and less efficient compared to the Apple TV interface, which is faster, more stable, and offers a much better overall user experience. Providing native support for Apple TV would give customers more flexibility in how they consume your service. There is a significant group of users who already use Apple TV as their main smart TV platform, and enabling support for it could improve customer satisfaction and potentially attract new users. Being the first telecom provider to offer Apple TV support could also serve as a strong differentiator in the market.
The App is pretty basic, stable but still lacks a modern interface and AirPlay support to cast on smart TV. Although I have the TV app, but it’s even terrible than the phone app. It’s beyond basic, looks like high school diploma development to pass the exam. Another downside is that the app itself is lacking picture-in-picture functionality which is frustrating if you have to respond to a message or check some info really quick. As paid service you should invest a little bit more and get up to date with other platforms.
It would be great if you created app version for Apple TV as well, as I would prefer to watch on the TV than on iPad/ iPhone. That’s the reason why I wouldn’t renew my subscription. I have also issues with the mirroring, which makes using the app on my TV completely impossible.
