How is it possible Eastern Bank consumer app has 4.9 rating from 6K people - and this business app is so awful?! Worst user interface I’ve ever seen in an app. Like it was designed 20 years ago as a rough draft and never completed. Embarrassing that a bank has an app this dreadful! Please fix!!!
This app is literal trash. My login credentials don’t work, and I have to go through a billion steps to login online (NOT on my web browser either btw). This is so aggravating and nothing anyone can do to help fix this, apparently. Don’t switch to eastern if you can help it.
Using the same login credentials that work fine online the app immediately gives a login fail alert. Doesn’t appear that it even tried to communicate with the server. When I contacted customer service their feedback was that I might have mistyped my password, or maybe my WiFi connection was weak, or I should restart my phone. In other words, the problem was on my end, not theirs, which was clearly not the case. Useless app.
