Say BARK!

Of all the greeting card apps that I just looked up, this one is by far the best use of a smart phone. It can record you dog saying your voice or funny pre-recorded messages. There’s no account sign up and it’s free, but I’d pay for it!

This app is rough and not user friendly. For example: 1. The filter options are limited. 2. In order for the filter options to appear, your dog needs to look directly into the camera (a box appears on the screen to assist with alignment). 3. The calibration of said box is on the touchy side; thus, it is difficult to perfectly align the dog's face within the box. 4. The filter options only appear when you are able to fit your dog's face precisely within the box. 5. The calibration of the filters are off as well as they appear off-center on the photo; additionally, certain filters flicker and crash as you attempt to apply the filter to the photo. I'm deleting the app off my phone, sorry.

This app is great! When it works, I love it! There’s just one problem I’ve been having. It doesn’t always see my dog. Maybe it’s just because I have a Chocolate Labrador, so he’s brown and dark, but the amount of lighting necessary is insane. Sometimes I have to hold a flashlight near my dog for the camera to see him. And the filters are so cute but the issue is that the ones that say happy holidays and merry Christmas and stuff don’t fit on the screen. Whenever I select them, I can only see half the word, the top is cut off. Other than that, I love it!
