I enjoy using this timer along with Sarah’s ebook (I have the Body & Bump as I’m currently 33+ weeks pregnant.) My only suggestion would be to add a 20 second rest period in the custom timer. For the cardio section it says to do “30 SEC ON 20 SEC OFF) there is not a 20 second option, just a 10 or 30+. I’ve been doing 40 seconds on 10 seconds off. But it’s frustrating to have to watch the timer so closely to make sure I’m resting after the 30 seconds of activity.
I love Sarah, but this app is so frustrating. The set timers for her ebook workouts are easy and great. The biggest frustration there is that if you accidentally slide the screen or tap back you cant go back, you have to start the timer all over. Reaaallly annoying when you’re deep in a workout. My biggest gripe is the custom timer. For reference i have the pregnancy ebook (along with others) but one of the workouts she suggests using the custom timer bc the timing is really specific. But setting up the timer is so confusing. There are no instructions, just all these sliders with 1-10 or 1-5, labeled “circuits” “rounds” “workouts”. Honestly i cannot figure out which controls which and after resetting it wrong like 5 times its just so annoying. Could use a lot more work to make it user friendly and not so frustrating to use.
I loved the previous version more, yes I couldn’t block the screen since the timer wouldn’t keep working, but at least I could listen to the music and every time Sarah was saying something my music volume would turn down a little bit and then it would go back to normal! Now I can listen to the music as a background, but it doesn’t turn the volume down, so I barely can hear Sarah and also when I workout with a blocked screen, the timer goes for 40 seconds in Sweaty Shredder instead of 30! I checked.. so disappointed, we waited for so long, payed for the app again and yet still got so many bugs with it..
