After years of stings on Hornet, razor burns from Scruff, and scrapes from Grindr, Old King has come out and changed the game. Aside from the concept being a fresh idea, Old King has revolutionized the gay social network scene. The first distinction is the requirement of a Facebook to make a profile. This helps make the app less full of men trying to fit in a quicky. Another is the design of it. The profile asks you questions that you can answer, and that gives a better representation of an individual than let’s say a standard “About Me” section. The only issue I’ve got with the app is a few operational bugs, but that’s more than expected with a brand new app. So to Scott and the rest of the Old King team: Great job. You made a hell of an app and it’s going to revitalize the community.

First and foremost, developers, give us a way to clean up these inboxes! Should be able to delete a convo thread, and differentiate fist bumps from actual conversations-- having been on here for a short time it's already a jumble where I can't quickly navigate to active/relevant convos. Other than that.... heh. Pretty chill, Old King. Clearly trying to appeal to a certain "masc 4 masc" demographic, which brings mixed feelings (you know, the staggering heteronormativity of it all), but I like this effort to make male-to-male interactions a bit more relaxed/natural and not so cruisey/sleazy like other apps can be. They're clearly trying to build a certain culture so we'll see how it pans out. I'll get behind it ? can be a bit glitchy/freezy since I guess it's still in early stages. Seems like quality guys so far. Like that it's Facebook-based with multiple profile photos and a matchmaker function ?? Old King on, y'all

I recently downloaded the app Old King and so far I’m happy with it. It’s a fun and well constructed app. I’m of course a user of another really great bear cultural social app as well and this app is a welcomed addition to my Social Apps folder. Easy one hand app operation for the most part when Old Kingwsing adds, sending a Grrrr and checking out pics. Although I did experience Bit of a delay with loading smoothness when switching between app sections. This is a small thing and will probably be fixed in an upcoming update I’m sure. My only real gripe is a glitch that resets your filters when you leave the personal adds Old Kingwsing section of the app. Adjusting those sliders to the desired position is like an app mini game lol. It gets old having to reset It constantly. Other then that, I like this app a lot and will continue to use it. Thanks for the cool app, guys!
