An amazing collection of the places I’ve been and the incredible music I was blessed to hear in the 50 years that I have been an avid fan of what I consider to be one of the finest groups of musicians in the history of Rock and Roll. These recordings are a testament to the willingness of a recording artist to open up the world to their music by allowing us to set-up our own recording gear at every show. I used to get a warm, knowing feeling when first entering an arena or outdoor venue for a Dead concert when I saw all of the mic’s being set up in the area always reserved for us. What a long, strange trip it’s been for one of the world’s greatest live performance bands. What a long, strange trip it’s been for all of us. Witnessing the world spinning ‘round while we sat in utter amazement and ecstasy, I wonder now how this music ever stopped. It didn’t. We can relive every moment thanks to this app. I can’t say enough about how much fun it is to replay these concerts that I attended over the years. Sure to bring a tear to any dry eyes left in the virtual listening audience, this is a collection that should forever remain in play mode on our hifi systems. Bless each and every one who played their hearts out, show after show.

Gets an app Just Exactly Perfect in concept. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Certainly makes all the time I spent spinning tape and burning cds seem like a tremendous waste! I do have one single suggestion at this point; give some thought to shrinking the vertical height of the tiles by 50% or so; there is a great deal of empty blue background that might otherwise busy itself by providing additional content. Indeed, I suspect you could get twice as many years on each screen without sacrificing anything in terms of information or readability. Whether you think the suggestion useful or no, I will remain thrilled finally to have a mobile streaming platform that, unlike the shoddy IA app itself, is reliable and the subject of ongoing developer attention. You’ve performed a service to posterity. Thanks again!

I give this app five stars because last time I left a review, the developer read my review and fixed any issues I had in the next update. Beyond those issues the app was all I could ask for and more. However, yesterday I was listening to a concert from ‘76 and when I went to switch over to ‘81 all I would get is an error message saying that there was a network error. So I restarted the app and now it says it has no internet connection. But I know for a fact I have internet connection because safari still works, Apple Music works fine, and iMessage works flawlessly. If you could find a way to fix this issue this app would return to its status as the perfect app to hear live Grateful Dead concerts along with various other bands
