Audi connect plug and play

Updated Dec 18th… … just when I was about to update that for me all is working fine, I get a message today saying the plug in unit and this App will stop working at the end of 2026. No info about anything to take its place, please why? We can’t all afford to keep buying new cars ;-( Previous Review… I’ve had this since it came out and have found it useful with the various metrics it holds about journeys and the car. For the last few months the route draw on the google map disappears when you stop zooming in and then permanently lost. Last update seems to have fixed it. I’ll update the rating depending on how it gets. The App is frequently updated which is typically good, however, sometimes it gets broken as other reviewers mention. Issues are fixed but it sometimes seems to take a while :-(

After more than 2years of this useless app only functioning intermittently and promise after promise from Audi Plug & Play that it is being sorted out by their most senior technicians. I had all but given up hope but…..on the 6th February 2024 a major update to the app came and I immediately installed it. So far leased that on the several trips I made that day everything worked perfectly. The same happened on the 9th so this is it I thought, they’ve finally got it right! Unfortunately, no they haven’t as every day since then only part of trips are recorded. Start mileage is often vastly different to end mileage from preceding trip! Oh well at least it worked fine for 2 days, yippee 🥴

What has happened to this app…. Seem to regularly be logged out of it and to access again I have to go through the set up of the app, including syncing history which takes several attempts as it says there is an unstable connection, despite uploading at home on a stable wifi connection. Support previously advised to delete app and reinstall but it makes no difference. Latest install and upload of data was last night but this morning I’m logged out again. Support - Advice to others is to log any issues on the app… How, when you can’t log in and the contact support on the Apple Store just goes to a generic page. This may be older technology but my car is only a year old and should work! There are so many people on here complaining and a generic response isn’t good enough. Please sort this out
