I appreciate the design of this current app for the YMCA because it’s easy to find classes organized by different filters including by instructor or class type. I can add it to my calendar with one click of a button.

The YMCA Northshore app does not work properly on IOS 13 mini. In the schedule section everything is already checked so you have to uncheck everything other than what you want. However you can’t do that because the wheelchair icon sits on top of the boxes that need to be unchecked. Once you uncheck the things you don’t want, then you are not able to update your choices because you no longer can scroll. The only way to see the schedule is by leaving everything checked for all locations and classes despite clicking on only one location at the onset of the search. There is no way to narrow the search without running into glitches.

The app makes it easy to sign up for classes, but every so often its logs me out for no reason. It makes no sense because I use it on the regular, so I’m never expecting it, and suddenly I can’t sign up for a class because I’ve been logged out and am away from home without access to my password. That aside, it generally works, so…yay?
