1. Turn on the microscope camera (blue light flashes at the end where you plug in the charger). 2. Go to WiFi settings on your smartphone. 3. Connect to unsecured network of the microscope camera. Name probably begins with Max- or something similar to that. Now you will see you image. You will need to use the manual focus on the microscope camera to get a sharp image. Works perfectly. I’d give it a 5 star rating if it weren’t for the fact that it doesn’t give you these instructions when you first start the app. It should have a tutorial like so many apps do.

Honestly, just a little blurb that pops up when you launch the app would do wonders. I think many of the negative reviews they just didn’t know how to make it work. Anyone reading through reviews who doesn’t know how to get this going - you need to turn on the microscope to get the blue light flashing, then go to settings, wi-if on your phone and join the network being emitted by the microscope. On mine the WiFi network was called max-see 5000. Once your phone is on the microscope’s WiFi, go back to the app and there’s your image! There is some lag but some of the images I captured were so super cool! It’s really a great gizmo and app.

I have been using Max-See as part of my business for a few months with great success. Today, I took photos as usual then went to upload to google drive where I keep everything organized. The upload button force closes the app and I have no other method of saving the photos. I went to the App Store to report a problem but this app doesn’t accept feedback through the App Store. So I went to their website. I emailed the email address on their website and received an error notification that the email doesn’t exist. I hope this is just an oversight and the app will be back to functioning soon but not having anyway of getting support for this is very frustrating.
