Whoever left the review on May 24th saved me from insanity. This app does not work for the “ thumb sports camera”. Iv always thought you had to use the app the product told you to use. Ha I had no idea you could use other ones. After trying to connect the camera for almost and hour, I deleted the app and went to reinstall when I noticed the may 24th review. So I installed the app that person said to install, and I was connected 40 seconds later. The app Viidure.

I admit I was hating the app initially, I had the same complaint as everyone else, but once I read the instructions and followed them exactly, I got it to work. Charge the device first. Press the button the correct way to start the WiFi connection, then manually search for it and enter the password. It was simple once I did everything the manual said but still not a GREAT app hence the 4 stars.

The application almost does some things that are useful, but both the application and the camera have so many bugs that they don’t ever work out to be one complete and cohesive package. Minor changes to how some things work would greatly improve the product, but I doubt any real development and effort will be put into the software development and/or the camera’s firmware development. So, we’re stuck with both being just average with the frustration that the potential to be awesome is just slightly out of reach and will remain that way.
