Ora is perfect for the age of technology that we are in, this app is redeeming our tight connection with our phones, and making a space for prayer to thrive and connect people all over the world!!
This app is super encouraging because when I feel like I’m not making it, I get the notification that somebody somewhere is praying for me! It also shows me the bigger picture, and how our prayers need to go beyond our own individual lives.
LOVE IT!! And I highly recommend it to any person at any level of prayer life— from beginner to prayer warrior... Ora is the app for you.

I’m so happy I read about ORA in the Catholic newsletter I just signed up for. It not only allows me to set timed reminders to pray, but opens up my world to fellow Christians who are in need of prayers! I can submit my own prayer requests too. Highly recommend!

I wish there was a way to report problems like this without assigning a rating. The app may be excellent, if only it would load. It throws up the splash screen and then immediately quits. That it hasn’t been updated in two years may have something to do with it. Anyway, I have split the difference on the rating, since it probably is a fine app, based the reviews and ratings of other users.

When you submit an anonymous prayer, you are surrendering your intention to God and to the Church. You can find peace being reminded that you have the support of your brothers and sisters, and that God's love is always at work in your life.
PRAY FOR THE INTENTIONS OF OTHERS
We are brothers and sisters in Christ.
Draw closer to your Lord through the intentions of others. Accepting the prayers of others is a selfless act that can help us deepen our relationship with God. Develop a habit of reflective prayer and a spirit of true empathy.
FOLLOW PRAYERS TO CONTINUE PRAYING AND TO RECEIVE UPDATES
We show our unity in prayer.
After you accept a prayer, you'll have the option to follow it. Following a prayer allows you to revisit the intention and continue praying for it. It also allows you to receive updates about the prayer request, if the author chooses to share them.
