Kid Car App

I read the reviews prior to downloading that it was expensive. However I’m ok with spending more for peace of mind and quality. It’s not just expensive, it’s prohibitively and astronomically expensive. Almost laughable. I can buy a car, and pay a part time employee for less than using this app. If you’re in a pinch then maybe but for me who needs weekly service, 2 days a week, it’s just not a wise way to spend money. I could buy a $1000 a month car and pay a part time employee $100/hour + gas and insurance for what this would cost. Just giving you an idea when people say it’s expensive, how expensive we’re really talking about.

As other reviewers have noted, this is not a cheap service. What they’re leaving out is that the cost of the ride is available up front before booking, so you can figure out well in advance whether KidCar will fit your budget. The service itself is top notch and in my opinion well worth the money. I booked two NYC area airport transfers and was pleasantly surprised by the proactive, friendly communication from both KidCar and their drivers. Our rides arrived promptly with properly installed car seats and drove very safely to our destinations. Both drivers were great with our kids – one even sang to our son when he got cranky. All in all a great experience.

We didn’t have a car seat when we rushed to the hospital from Queens to Manhattan to give birth to our little joy! We were told just call KidCar when we were ready, and the car that came was perfect! It was clean and safe and I felt comfortable bringing home my 4 day old baby. I’m so grateful we didn’t have to haul around a car seat at the hospital. What a great service! We will be using them anytime we are in the city and don’t feel like lugging around a car seat. Plus the app has much better and controlled options for car seats than Uber. Uber’s customer driven choices on the app are terrible.
