used to rely on this app daily, and it worked flawlessly for my needs. However, the recent update has completely thrown things off. Key features I used regularly are buggy on my iPad Pro 11. It’s frustrating to see such a useful tool become difficult to use. I’m hoping the developers listen to the feedback and roll out a fix soon—this version just isn’t it.

Using the app with a Y&H 3600 Watt Hybrid Solar Controller. Overall the app appearance is pleasant and mostly well thought out. But it seems some more love could be shown to develop the app further, obviously addressing some flaws. For example… The EnergyFlow page shows icons for the solar, battery, load, and mains below the animation of the energy flowing through the system. Tapping the solar icon shows a graph of the solar power generated. Nice. Tapping the battery icon shows a graph with no data. Bad! This should show capacity going up and down through the day. Tapping the load icon shows a graph of power usage. Nice. Tapping the mains icon shows a graph with no data. Bad! This should show power consumption through the day. The user is unable to adjust the output voltage through the app. The app lists 220V, 230V, and 240V as the available output voltages. Given the hybrid solar controller is only a 3600 Watt unit, the choices should be 110V, 115V, or 120V. Any voltage selected does not stay registered and the voltage is always 120V regardless. There are also obvious shortcomings with the hybrid solar controller being used. It is not clear whether this app is related to the manufacturer of the controller. I will update my review as soon as updates address these issues.

hey programmers please overlook every thing before you release an app. sometimes you mix up W and kW and kWh and Wh. so the results of a chart doesn’t make sense. also there’s typos in the app. also it doesn’t display real time information! it takes forever until the display changes after a cloud hits the sun or a load has changed. setting parameters doesn’t always work and it takes long to load them. especially for parameter settings it would be super helpful if there are explanations for every setting. go to the iPhone settings and look how that has been made. that’s how it should be so everybody knows what a setting does. it constantly shows yellow alarm for the inverter but if you go to alarm there’s nothing listed. it’s green maybe only once a day for a few seconds. the chart (parametanaly)doesn’t work with multiple parameters selected, shows nothing then. hey there’s a lot of work to this app, get on it soon another big concern, but that needs to be done together with a software update for the inverter, that you can control the fan. There is no need that the fan is running all night when there is no sun and no load.
